Preparing for your first visit

I understand that if you are reaching out for help you have already entered the process of change. I want to congratulate you and make this easier if possible. I have found questions about initiating a first visit are somewhat similar for most people.

How do I make an appointment?

I have office hours from Monday through Friday. Please feel free to contact me if you want to set up an appointment time or if you have questions concerning appointments and the process of therapy.

What can I do between now and when we meet?

Once you have set up an appointment with me, it will maximize our time together if you fill out the intake form provided and bring it with you. I have also provided the HIPAA and Informed Consent forms below. Please read them at your convenience before we meet.

Do you take insurance?

I do not bill insurance. However, I will provide you with a receipt for services upon payment. You may submit this receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement for my services as an out-of-network provider. You may want to contact your insurance company to see if your plan includes reimbursement for out-of-network psychotherapy. If you have no insurance coverage for out-of-network providers and you are interested in working with me, please contact me so we can discuss fees and arranging a plan to work together that will work for both of us.
